Software Engineer Internship (Remote)

This is a perfect opportunity to gain experience and build meaningful tech solutions in one of the trendiest industries - video & live streaming! We are looking for a full-stack engineer for the Software Engineering Internship that can start features from scratch, do technical designs, implement the back-end and front-end with unit and integration tests. The engineering intern will report directly to the CTO and we will be working with weekly sprints to keep track of user stories and tasks.
Knowledge required:
- React
- Javascript/HTML5/CSS
- Note.js
- C++ is not mandatory, but it would be a plus
At the end of the internship, the software engineer would have contributed main features to our platform like:
- User Engagement through chat & accounts
- Broadcasting Solutions
- Web Development
- Scaling of infrastructure
Drive and willingness to learn are more important than experience. We will let you lead features, but we are also working together to learn from one another and brainstorm solutions for challenging problems.
We are based in San Francisco, but you can be anywhere in the world. You do have to be fluent in English, well-spoken and be able to carry yourself professionally in emails and messages.
This position is available as an unpaid internship, some expenses can be covered. Work hours and dates are flexible.
