PreK-12 STEM Educator Mini-Grant Opportunity

The Cape Cod Regional STEM Network is offering mini-grants of $250 for educators teaching STEM in grades PreK-12 on the Cape & Islands.

Applicants must be watch the video ‘Tools for Active Learning in the STEM Classroom’ by Dr. Joshua Ring, Associate Professor of Chemistry, Lenoir-Rhyne University, Hickory Campus, and incorporate one or more of the tools shared in the video into one or more lesson plans to be used in the classroom.

In the video, Dr. Ring introduces three tools for active learning:

-How to flip a lecture

-Steps to incorporate POGIL: Process Oriented Guided Inquiry Learning

-Live monitoring

Deadline to apply is June 15, 2018. Deliverables must be completed by August 1, 2018.
