Join Woodwell Climate’s Facility team as the Facilities Engineer to help maintain the Center’s Campus. The Facilities Engineer is crucial to our organization's ability to serve the community, as it directly contributes to providing a clean, safe, and functional environment for all. Perform daily operations for both the internal and external maintenance of campus buildings, remote sites; coordinate contractors and may perform both routine and emergency repairs.

Must have the following Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Broad knowledge base in various trades and a proven track record of working independently to ensure our building systems and equipment operate safely and efficiently
Possesses expert knowledge of building codes, environmental standards, and safety regulations to ensure compliance throughout all design activities
Prior experience with plans, designs, and maintains facility infrastructure and equipment to meet the needs of an organization
CAD software and engineering principles experience
Strong set of software, technical skills and intermediate soft skills that allow them to work independently on more complex projects
Analyzes specifications and requirements to establish facility plans and estimate design costs
Experience with grounds care and building maintenance, office building cleaning, shipping and receiving experience
Ability to perform tasks such as lifting, pushing, climbing, work with motorized equipment in varying weather conditions
Excellent communication and organization skills
Vocational/technical training and trade license or certification preferred

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, facilities management or relevant field

Classification and Compensation: This is a full-time, salaried, exempt position, the annual salary range starting at $70,000 dependent on qualifications/experience
