This lesson was developed for students in grades 3-5 by VonWaldhe at 2017 Teacher-in-Residence at Chatham Marconi Maritime Center.

In this lesson plan students will be learning about how tracking devices work and how signal and data is transmitted, stored, and received. This lesson will also show how shark tagging is valuable to learn about shark behavior, physical growth, and characteristics.
