Research Intern

Narrow Land

Busy, growing web development and design studio seeking interns to assist with research efforts internally and for client projects. Research areas include but aren’t limited to design, user experience, web development, events, media and even real estate development. Internship may lead to a permanent role with the company as we continue to expand.

Job Description:

Our team is looking for an energetic and motivated research intern to assist with collecting, organizing, and analyzing opinions, ideas and data to solve problems, explore issues, and predict trends. Research will potentially be used to influence business and investment decisions and is very important to Narrow Land and our clients. This position is on site at Narrow Land’s Hyannis studio.


  • Collect, record and analyze data
  • Establish a consistent, result oriented research process to implement as a preliminary step for all projects
  • Use research results to write reports, analysis, reviews and present findings to team members and clients in a clear, professional manner
  • Analyze and interpret current patterns and trends in all relevant industries
  • Organize and maintain research databases
  • Regularly self-audit work and check data for errors and inconsistencies
  • Use research data found and contribute to the design and development process
  • Make suggestions for improvements on projects needed

Hours & Compensation:

  • Part Time | 15-20 hrs per week
  • School credit with possibility to work with our company in a permanent role


  • Valid drivers license and transportation
  • Use of Apple products (i.e. MacBook)
  • Experience in best practices for research methods in database/information management
  • Detail oriented self starter
  • Ability to effectively convey information and data to team members and clients
  • Strong writing and reading skills
  • Work closely with other team members
  • Prior experience using spreadsheets and/or database applications for the compilation of research data
