The Blue Economy Internship Program, (BEIP) offers experiential learning opportunities for public high school, state and community college students in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to build their professional experience, skills and knowledge related to the life sciences, technology and the Blue Economy. The Blue Economy is the "sustainable use of ocean resources for economic growth, improved livelihoods and jobs, and ocean ecosystems health."
The Marine Biological Laboratory is looking to fill internship opportunities in areas of your interest or those that have been identified throughout the organization to include the following department:
Individual will provide technical assistance to the MBL community members, including courses, researchers and staff with their computer, network and multimedia needs. Should have some working knowledge of Windows and Macintosh operating systems, MS Word, Excel and Outlook email. Basic computer hardware knowledge and troubleshooting are strongly desirable. This internship position is available beginning in January, 2020 through June, up to 20 hours per week.
