Harbor Assessment

Cape Cod Commission

The Cape Cod Commission is seeking interns to help complete an assessment of harbors in the four towns of Provincetown, Chatham, Dennis, and Falmouth. The project will identify and, where possible, quantify the infrastructure and various economic activities associated with harbors on Cape Cod relative to the costs of maintaining the harbors. This information will be used to assess threats to harbor viability and identify the net benefits of continued operations. The goal is to develop an assessment methodology that can be deployed more widely, leading to improved harbor planning and the long-term viability of the region’s harbors.
