Description

The Blue Economy Internship Program, (BEIP) offers experiential learning opportunities for public high school, state and community college students in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to build their professional experience, skills and knowledge related to the life sciences, technology and the Blue Economy. The Blue Economy is the "sustainable use of ocean resources for economic growth, improved livelihoods and jobs, and ocean ecosystems health."

The Marine Biological Laboratory is looking to fill internship opportunities in areas of your interest or those that have been identified throughout the organization to include the following department:

Education

Intern will assist the MBL Education Director in establishing the career outcomes of alumni of the Advanced Research Training Courses offered at the MBL from 2000 - 2009. The work entails searching for past participants in a variety of ways and categorizing their current employment status by a defined rubric. This internship position is available beginning in January 2020, part-time, through June, 4 to 20 hours per week.
