Paid internship in the Education Department at the Marine Biological Laboratory (MBL) offered through our Blue Economy Internship Program (BEIP)
The MBL’s High School Science Discovery Program is seeking an intern to assist with the ongoing course development and implementation. These residential courses provide high level educational experiences to High School students through immersive, hands-on laboratory sessions. The selected intern will work with program managers to review the curriculum for current courses and connect Next Generation Science Standards to specific course activities and content. Additionally, the selected intern will advise on any potential additions to course content where appropriate and, when needed, assist in the setup, delivery, or breakdown of courses. Applicants must have an interest in science education and curriculum development. Some familiarity with traditional or Next Generation Science Standards preferable. Six hours per week for at least four weeks.
